Client Info for June Reopening!

On Monday, June 1st I’ll be reopening for existing clients! I’m really looking forward to seeing you again : )

In order for me to open safely and successfully, it is important that we all have a clear understanding of precautions, protocols and expectations so that we can take care of each other. Below is a list of what you can expect from your visit. I understand that everyone has varied opinions and perspectives regarding Covid-19, but I ask that you please respect my policies and understand that I take the safety and comfort of my clients very seriously.

I have used the Stay-At-Home 2.0 guideline for Massage Therapy as well as guidelines from my insurance company to map out my protocols, and I’ve worked hard to prepare the office for visitors. If you would like to make any requests concerning safety measures, please reach out! And, as always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Below is a list of resources, important updates and protocols

*Important-Policies & What to Expect:

  1. Before you arrive: I will be reaching out the day before your appointment via text to confirm that both of us are feeling healthy, have been abiding by CDC guidelines and have not been in contact with anyone who is sick. I’ll also ask you for a brief update on new pain patterns and your requests for the session (this is done to reduce face-to-face chatting in-office) If you are feeling unwell or suspect that you’re been in contact with someone who is sick, please reschedule your appointment.

  2. Please wear a mask to your session. I will also be wearing a mask and I will be changing my mask after each client session. I know it’s not comfortable, but it is required.

  3. Arrival: Upon arriving, please wait in your vehicle (not the waiting area) until I have texted you that it is okay to come inside.

  4. Restrooms will be cleaned frequently throughout the day. However, there is no guarantee that it will be sterile at all times, so please prepare for your session with that in mind.

  5. There will be a washable shelf available in-office that you can place your clothes and belongings on. This shelf will be cleaned after each client session. Please do not hang clothes on the coat rack or leave them on the floor.

  6. During your session, chatting is fine! As always, I’ll communicate with you about pressure & pain points, etc.

  7. After your session, we can share an air hug from 6 feet away!

  8. Payment & Scheduling: You will receive an Invoice via email (this reduces touching of screens) on the evening of your appointment. The invoice will walk you through an online payment process that is simple and secure. You will have up to three day to submit your payment and you will receive automated reminders via email. If you would like to purchase e-gift cards or sign up for pre-payment, please get in touch with me so that we can set you up for online payments that are convenient for you.

  9. Scheduling future appointments can be done via the link to my scheduling app. You may also text to schedule your next appointment. My current hours are Monday’s, Tuesday's and Friday’s from 11am to 7:30pm. Evening hours book quickly, so be sure to schedule in advance.

  10. We’re in this together! I know that these precautions seem a little stressful, but if we work together we can make it fun and relaxing. Let’s help each other : )

*If you need any of these protocols to be adapted in any way, please notify me ahead of time so that I can make arrangements.

My Protocols:

  1. My mask will be changed to a new disposable mask after each client.

  2. Client sessions are spaced out to allow for 30 minutes of turn over for thorough sanitation.

  3. Sanitation of all surfaces in my office, common areas and bathrooms are done before you arrive and after you leave. Sanitation products used have been approved by the CDC.

  4. Trash can and laundry bin both have covers and are washable.

  5. A washable table is available for clothing storage.

  6. All fabrics have been removed from the office, including padding underneath linens.

  7. All linens are washed in hot water and detergent with bleach.

  8. Hand sanitizer is provided in-office.

I can’t wait to see you! I know it’ll be a little different. But, we’ll make sure that it’s great! I’ll see you soon : )
