As the world navigates through uncertainty, it’s important to me that my clients know that their safety and well-being are my top priority. There are a number of precautions that we can all take to protect ourselves and each other, and it’s important to understand how our community is keeping us safe.
I have always believed that maintaining proper hygiene is one of the best ways that I can protect myself and my clients, which is why I follow strict protocols every single day to keep my office clean and comfortable for each visitor. A few ways that I do this is:
I thoroughly wash my hands before and after every client session as well as before greeting and shaking hands with new visitors. This involves washing my hands and forearms with soap and water, and by scrubbing underneath nails and in between fingers.
I sanitize all surfaces and devices used by myself and clients in between each client visit and at the end of each work day. This includes door knobs and product bottles (oils, creams, etc.) I give myself a few minutes in between clients to prepare the space for the next visitor, which includes changing all linens and wiping down surfaces.
All linens are thoroughly cleaned. Linens, towels, pillow covers, blankets and head rest covers are laundered in hot water, with unscented detergent, and replaced after each client visit.
At this time, I will be taking extra precautions, including:
Sanitizing common areas throughout Soma (the location of my office) throughout each day. My colleagues and I will all be working together to keep the bathrooms and waiting area/lobby clean and sanitized at all times. We’re all pitching in to supply toilet paper, paper towels and soap. We have a great team!
You can help create a safe space for everyone by:
Washing your hands or using hand sanitizer before and after your appointment, and by touching fewer surfaces.
Rescheduling your appointment if you are feeling ill, know someone who does, or simply feel uncomfortable visiting public spaces. I want my clients to feel comfortable and safe, so if you feel otherwise, do not hesitate to communicate with me about that. We can reschedule your appointment, no big deal!
